Purpose of Supporting Services

Supporting services are used in the following scenarios:

  • Detection of card and bank information before payment

  • Selection of the correct payment flow (3D / Non-3D)

  • Application of business rules specific to card type or bank

  • Reduction of error rates and failed transactions

These services alone do not create a financial transaction.


Available Services

1. BIN Lookup

Enables obtaining basic information about the card using the first 6 digits of the card number (BIN – Bank Identification Number).

Provided information:

  • The bank that issued the card

  • Card brand (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)

  • Card type (Debit / Credit / Prepaid)

  • Whether the card is domestic or foreign

Typical usage scenarios:

  • Displaying the bank logo on the payment screen

  • Decisions on 3D Secure requirement

  • Determining installment or commission rules
